This is St Patrick's cathedral. It's located in Auckland, 43 Wyndham St. They started building it in1841 and finished in 2007, if your counting the restoration project.
I just want to start by saying how lovely it is to see you back and blogging with us; welcome back! I see that you're on fire and uploading one activity after the other, nice one! Thanks very much for completing this activity and for not only finding any old Cathedral but one that is located in Auckland. Ka pai :)
I like that you've provided the exact address too, how handy. "If you're counting the restoration project" — how long was the restoration process? And why did it have to be restored?
Looking forward to many more of your wonderful posts,
Thank you for you're nice comment. That wasn't the only restoration project, there were actually another restoration project made before the one that finished in 2007. Anyway, the restoration project was started in 2005, so they shut down for 2 whole years. That is a very long time. I couldn't find out why the had to do it.
Kia ora Tara, I was reading some of your blog posts and i found them really interesting to read.I found this article really fascinating but i think you might have added a little more description about why they built the cathedral for.
Im hoping to see new posts, And some of your editing on your blog posts Good job , Mia
Hi there Mia, Thank you for reading my posts. It was very hard to add a little more 'description' to my post. I am hoping to post more things for you and others to see. Thanks for the compliment!
