I had to create a beast, including a description about it. I had to write what it felt like, smelled like, ate, and looked like. I hope you like it. Leave a comment if you want.
Kia ora Tara I will never go close to that thing if it eat spiders well any ways I really like how you drew your beast and said glowing eyes instead of its eyes glow
Next time you could tell us how it acts and what does it do does it harm humans or animals? what is it's prey? well all that stuff but a part from that it is awsome
This reminded me off my beast but my beast is a little different because it is a bird and it fly's what is a special feature?
Kia ora Mehakpreet, Haha, I wouldn't go near my animal because it eats spiders, too. Thats why I call it a beast. And thank you, I'm proud of my animal and how I described it.
I should take your advice for next time. I should add that stuff, too. And I guess it doesn't harm a humans feelings because Its eating up spiders for them! I guess there are just some pros and cons to having that beast around your house.
Your beast sounds really interesting. I'll check it out, and I might leave a comment for you. (Unless I already did. I forgot.)
It's so GREAT to see you both having a well-informed conversation here. Because you've both added thoughtful comments in response to one another, I've rewarded you both with 2 bonus points each— well done, and keep it up! Don't forget that you can earn an infinite amount of points just for leaving thoughtful comments exactly like the ones above!
Happy New Year to you, and well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Fantastic Beasts'— wow, your beast is wonderful! Thanks for giving it a name, too— Magibolt, how did you come up with that? I really appreciate that it has a lot of similarities to a cat. Would you say that Magibolt is the same size as a cat? Could you pick it up? What's on the end of their tail?
I really look forward to reading more of your posts, Tara— ka pai!
Kia Ora Jordan, Thanks for the positive comment! I love Fantastic Beasts, I just had to create mine. I was just thinking of the name Magibolt by thinking of two words relating to the beast, and put the words together. I love how my beast has many similarities to a cat, too! I own a cat, plus they look adorable, so why not make a beast similar to one? And Magibolt would probably be the same size as a cat, and I guess you could pick it up, but it likes to scratch just like my cat. The end of the tail is super fluffy, but its like lightning, so I don't think it would be that safe to touch it. I'm glad your looking at my posts!
Hello there, my name is Zephaniah and I am a part of doing the SLJ aswell as you are. I see that you have completed much of the activities. Tino pai! It seems that this awesome looking beast scared the lights out of me. Your description was just too spooky. It was great!
If this was a beast was real, would you be surprised? Cause I will if the one I created was real.
Kia Ora Zephaniah, Thank you for commenting, and its nice to find someone else participating in the summer learning journey! I think the scariest thing about my beast was the spiders. Gives me chills just thinking about it. Can't say I have arachnophobia, but I can agree with the spooky description... If my beast was real, I would probably scream. It does have a few similarities to a cat, but I would literally hide in my closet seeing this beast in real life.
